J.P. (he/they) founded the Queer Armenian Library in 2020. He is a 2022 Lambda Literary Fellow. His essays have been featured in The Sun Isn’t Out Long Enough (Anamot Press) and the forthcoming Imagining and Seeing: Voices From the Armenian Diaspora (University Texas Press), as well as a forthcoming Lambda Literary anthology (2023).

He proudly serves on the Board of the International Armenian Literary Alliance – the first organization of its kind to support Armenian writers.

Natalie Cruz (she/her/hers) is a second-year master’s student in art history at Temple University. Her research is focused on modern and contemporary Armenian art in the S.W.A.N.A. region (South West Asian/North African) and their diaspora.

As an Armenian woman in academia, she hopes to make accessible and spread knowledge of queer Armenian artists who are absent from art history and the Armenian community.
