Published in 2023, No Worries if Not: A Funny(ish) Story of Growing Working Class and Queer is a coming of age memoir by comedian Soph Galustian. Through short stories, spoken word, and illustrations, Galustian explores experiences of poverty, queerness, mental health, grief and community. The book also includes “space for the reader to reflect (or draw tits… whatever you prefer).”
Soph Galustian is a Mancunian comedy writer-performer with Armenian heritage who stars as Julia in Channel 4/ JAX Media comedy EVERYONE ELSE BURNS which has returned for series two. She also features in the Bafta nominated British romantic comedy film RYE LANE, directed by Raine Allen Miller.
Soph wrote and starred in PECK ‘EDS a short form comedy series she created as part of the BBC’s Threesomes strand and was also in the writers’ room for BBC comedy PRU, now also streaming on Netflix.
Soph is a Funny Woman 2023 semi-finalist and her debut stand-up show HEY MAMMAS sold out at London’s Soho Theatre.
